Before entering the field of Oriental Medicine, Dr. Kahn obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. With over 20 years of nursing experience, her nursing career spans from the clinical setting (pediatric and adult medical/surgical) to administration to legal consulting. However, direct patient care has always been close to her heart.
After experiencing her own health challenge with endometriosis and hormone imbalance for over 20 years, Dr. Kahn realized that Western medicine alone was not enough to treat her condition. It was during this time that she ventured into Chinese medicine receiving regular acupuncture treatments, chinese herbs, and nutrition therapy. As her health condition resolved, she knew that Chinese medicine had so much to offer and decided to dedicate her study of this ancient healing art in order to in turn help others who are also in need of a viable healthcare option.
